The sleek updo, see photo above, will work well for a prom hair style. Take small section of hair in the crown area and gently back comb them, then smooth over the top with your fingers. Part the hair deep on one side and then smooth all the hair in the crown area back into a mid-height ponytail.
Spray a shine serum on the top of the hair to create the shiny, sexy look. Long dangling earrings and a matching necklace will complement this style well.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has a wavy hair style that features a side part. The hair is wavy from the roots to the ends and is left loose.
To create the soft waves, you can use either a curling iron or hot rollers. Some women have great success with velcro rollers, or even a flat iron.
Lindsay Lohan has the right hair style here, see photo right. This long layered hair style features very gentle waves combined with a deep side part.
This smooth style will go with just about any prom dress you choose. If you want something a little different, try adding a few highlights or lowlights around the face to brighten up the style.
