The medium length hair cut styles shown below show lots of layers and long bangs. Long bangs do require the use of hair care products and/or styling aids to get them to look just right. Always check with your hair stylist about every day styling and maintenance of any hair cut that you select. If you can't create the look at home, you probably will not be happy with your hair cut style.
 

Kirsten Dunst is wearing a very simple medium length hair style.  She has very long bangs that are side swept from a deep side part.  There is a little bit of face framing layers and the ends are textured.

This style looks great with uniquely placed highlights and lowlights for a fabulous look.
 

Nicole Richie has a layered medium hair style.  The layering starts about chin level and goes all the way to the ends.

She has very long bangs that are side-swept from a deep side part.  The hair is left loose and slightly wavy.

This type of finish can be created by applying a curl-enhancing gel when the hair is damp and then blow drying the hair with a diffuser attachment.  Use only your fingers to shape and position the hair as a brush will remove whatever natural curl there is.

If you do not have naturally curly hair, you may need to use a curling iron or hot rollers to create the gentle waves.
