There are many different things you should
consider before you decide on a final style. First, what
will the weather be like during the occasion. Will it be
hot and humid? Will it be raining? Of course, you
don't have a crystal ball that will tell you exactly what the
weather will be like, but you should have a general idea of
weather conditions for your area during the month of your
occasion.
Weather is important because of humidity and
obvious issues with your hair getting wet. Humidity can
really ruin your hair. But, if you are prepared in advance
you may be able to combat any humidity damage by using the right
hair care products and getting the right updo or hair style.

hair style are located in our comprehensive Hair Guides.
New Hair Styles For Women - Hair Colour Change
By Terry Glass
Thinking of a Colour Change
Consider what hair colour would actually enhance your skin tone, bearing in mind the texture of your hair as well. Is it fine, thick or coarse? If you're not sure what texture you've got, your hairdresser will be able to tell you instantly.
Thin hair works better with an overall colour but take into account maintenance - roots will need to be touched up once a month. Thick hair suits highlights or lowlights and they don't take as much attention.
Although colour is suitable for most, short straight hair won't really suit highlights as they can look a bit stripey. On short wavy hair, any types of lights will look striking. An all over colour suits all styles.
Go to at least two professional colourists for a consultation. Even if you're not sure about having a colour, they can advise you on what will and won't suit you. Consultations are free and you won't be bullied or committed into anything your not happy with.
